Welcome To the Cocke County Office of the Clerk & Master. The Clerk & Master’s Office handles cases filed for Chancery Court, Probate Court, and Child Support Court. Cases filed in these courts include estates, divorces, custody matters, paternity cases, adoptions, real estate matters, contract disputes, worker’s compensation, partition suits, conservatorships, guardianships, and other civil and domestic relation matters. Chancellor Jim H Ripley presides over the Fourth and Fifth Judicial Districts of Tennessee and Cocke County is one of the five counties he serves.
